TD® Aeroplan® Credit Card Offers for Summer 2023 (Ending Soon)
TD‘s Summer 2023 Aeroplan co-branded credit card offers, which include some all-time-high bonuses, are about to come to an end.
The offers on the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card and the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card are at a record high, while the offer on the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Platinum Card has remained steady.
Let’s take a closer look at the details of these offers, which are available until September 5, 2023.
TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite*: Up to 70,000 Aeroplan Points!†
The TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card currently has an all-time-high welcome bonus of up to 70,000 Aeroplan points.† This is an increase from the previous record of 55,000 points, which we saw in Winter 2023.
However, note that unlike in previous rounds, the $139 annual fee isn’t rebated for the first year.†
To earn the full bonus, you’ll have to meet the following conditions:
- Earn 10,000 Aeroplan points† with your first purchase
- Earn an additional 40,000 Aeroplan points† upon spending $5,000 in the first 180 days
- Earn an anniversary bonus of 20,000 Aeroplan points† when you spend $7,500 in the first year
A bonus of 70,000 Aeroplan points† is an all-time high for the card, and amongst the best offers ever on a mid-tier Aeroplan credit card in Canada.
Like its premium counterpart, the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card requires you to keep the card for a second year to earn the full welcome bonus.† Otherwise, the first-year bonus drops to 50,000 Aeroplan points, which is still competitive.
However, the anniversary bonus of 20,000 points† would easily justify paying a $139 annual fee for the second year — and that’s not factoring in a potential annual fee waiver by holding a TD premium chequing account.
As a reminder, the earning rates on the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card are as follows:
- Earn 1.5 Aeroplan points per dollar spent† on eligible gas, grocery, and direct Air Canada® purchases (including Air Canada Vacations®)

TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card: Up to 115,000 Aeroplan Points!†
The TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card is currently offering a welcome bonus of up to 115,000 Aeroplan points† — an all-time high for this premium credit card. We first saw this offer appear in Winter 2023, and it was extended through the summer round of offers.
The structure of the welcome bonus means that you’ll have to keep the card around for a second year, but once again, there’s an argument to be made to do so.
To earn the full welcome bonus, you’ll have to meet the following conditions:
- Earn 20,000 Aeroplan points† with your first purchase†
- Earn an additional 60,000 Aeroplan points† when you spend $7,500 in the first 180 days†
- Earn an anniversary bonus of 35,000 Aeroplan points† when you spend $12,000 in the first year†
While the spending requirement is high, it’s only an average of $1,250 per month in the first six months, and $1,000 per month in the first 12 months, which is quite low compared to other premium credit card offers. Besides, the bonus is well worth it, as it’s enough for a round-trip business class flight from Western Canada to Japan.
This card has an annual fee of $599†, and you’ll need to renew the card for a second year to capture the full welcome bonus.
As always, the card’s everyday earning rates are as follows:
- Earn 2 Aeroplan points per dollar spent† on direct purchases with Air Canada®, including Air Canada Vacations®
- Earn 1.5 Aeroplan points per dollar spent† on eligible gas, grocery, travel, and dining purchases
- Earn 1.25 Aeroplan points per dollar spent† on all other eligible purchases
In addition to the travel benefits offered by the lower-tier cards, the TD® Aeroplan® Visa* Infinite Privilege* Card also comes with a DragonPass membership† and six lounge passes per year, as well as Maple Leaf Lounge access†. Plus, your spending on the card will help earn Status Qualifying Miles or Segments towards Aeroplan Elite Status†.
The TD® Aeroplan® Visa* Infinite Privilege* Card requires $150,000 in annual personal income or $200,000 in annual household income to qualify.

TD® Aeroplan® Visa Platinum* Card: Up to 20,000 Aeroplan Points†
The TD® Aeroplan® Visa Platinum* Card is once again holding steady at 20,000 Aeroplan points for new cardholders. Like its Visa Infinite* counterpart, the annual fee is rebated for the first year.
The welcome bonus is structured as follows:
- Earn 10,000 Aeroplan points† with your first purchase
- Earn an additional 10,000 Aeroplan points† when you spend $1,000 in the first 90 days
Usually, welcome offers at this level are reserved for cards with a higher income requirement. If this card is a better fit for you, or if you’ve been ignoring it in favour of premium products, you can get this bonus if you apply before September 5, 2023.†
While the welcome bonus shines, ongoing earning rates aren’t quite as strong as the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card’s:
- Earn 1 Aeroplan point per dollar spent† on eligible gas, grocery, and direct Air Canada® purchases (including Air Canada Vacations®)

Conclusion
TD remains one of Canada’s leading credit card issuers, with strong offers on its Aeroplan credit cards for Summer 2023.
You can earn a substantial number of Aeroplan points through each of TD’s co-branded cards. Although the core and premium cards are offering strong welcome bonuses, in order to benefit from the full bonus, keep in mind that the anniversary bonus structure requires you to keep the card for a second year.
Still, if you’ve been holding out on picking up one of these cards, now would be a great time to apply and take advantage of some excellent bonuses through September 5, 2023.
