In addition to the 29 long-haul Promo Rewards, there are 16 short-haul Promo Rewards available for intra-European travel.
This is easily one the largest lists of Promo Rewards we’ve seen to date, and it covers a range of continents, destinations, and classes of service. Keep in mind that there is a transfer bonus from Amex US MR to Flying Blue until May 22, so if you can make good use of this month’s Promo Rewards, you stand to score flights at a significant discount.
For Montreal-based travellers, you can get to Europe for just 41,250 miles, which is an absolute steal for a flight in business class. While the Promo Reward listing shows that the offer is valid for KLM flights, you can also find flights between Montreal and Amsterdam via Paris with Air France at the discounted price.
The discount also applies to flights from Montreal to other destinations in Europe, such as Budapest.
Heading from Europe to Cape Town, you can score a seat in business class for just 59,250 miles.
As for other business class redemptions, you can score a seat in business class between Europe and Buenos Aires for just 70,875 miles.
And if you’re just looking for a cheap way to fly in economy, you can get from many North American hubs to Europe for as few as 12,750 miles.
Indeed, you won’t find a much cheaper way to get across the Atlantic than what you can find with this month’s Promo Rewards. If you have a trip to Europe planned in the next few months, be sure to secure your seats soon before someone else takes advantage of the deal.
Keep in mind that Air France/KLM Flying Blue recently added free stopovers as a feature of the program. You can add a free stopover of up to one year on a redemption, and when combined with a Promo Reward, could be an excellent way to plan out a long-term trip at a great deal.
Promo Reward tickets are available for one-way and round-trip flights, allowing for flexibility in your travel plans. Promo Reward discounts are only applicable on the lowest standard award pricing when available, and not on dynamically priced flight segments.
Keep in mind that Flying Blue Promo Rewards come with a booking deadline. You must book the May 2023 Promo Rewards during the month of May; however, the travel window extends all the way through October 31, 2023.
Lastly, it’s important to note that Promo Reward tickets typically cannot be changed, cancelled, or refunded.
